Lily was Christened today. It was such a beautiful day out, compared to the rainy or overcast days we've been having recently. She was Christened at St. Pauls Church and Father Pius did such a wonderful ceremony. Lily seemed to enjoy it as well as she just stayed up there and smiled the whole time, which was great.

Thanks to Leanne, Marc's godmother, who was informed at last minute that she was doing a reading. She did a wonderful job, but she never says no to the opportunity of being infront of the crowd. :D
Getting one of the two oils crossed on her chest. Lily really did enjoy having Father Pius talk to her. She just sat there and stared at him. This is the oil of catechumens.
Lily getting the water poured on her head. She was very relaxed during this. Luckily the water was nice and warm for her. We were a little worried how she would react to the water being poured on her but she did great.
This is the second oil where Father Pius anointed Lily on the crown of the head with the oil, chrism.

Lily's huge cake. The sprinkles were bright pink. We sent pieces of cake home with everyone we had way too much cake. But it was good!!
